Slow down this festive season with a quiet, creative afternoon in the studio, hand building your own ceramic tree luminary. A beautifully festive little tea light holder, made entirely by your own hands.
Over 3 unhurried hours, with a warm drink and festive sweet treats to keep you going, you'll shape your tree from stoneware clay using traditional hand building techniques, carving decorative cut-outs to let the light shine through and adding your own texture and detail along the way. There's no need to get it perfect, every tree looks a little different, and that's exactly the point.
This is a workshop built for slowing down; quiet music, plenty of time, and space to simply enjoy the process. Your opportunity to have a proper pause before the season gets busy, and create your own beautiful handmade piece to show for it. It also makes a lovely gift for someone who needs an excuse to slow down."
Once your piece is finished, it's kiln-fired by hand and ready for collection in approximately three weeks. Just in time to find its place on your mantel or windowsill for Christmas.
