Sensory Friendly Workshop
These private sessions offer a flexible, person-led space for neurodivergent people and people with learning disabilities to work creatively with clay. Sessions are tailored to you, guided by your preferences, abilities, and personal aims.
How these sessions are different from a typical workshop:
A quiet, garden studio setting with minimal background noise and visual distraction
Gentle guidance that adapts to your needs, energy levels, and sensory preferences
A focus on the calming, tactile qualities of clay
Sessions designed around individual aims, whether that is relaxation, sensory regulation, or creative exploration
A supportive, non-judgemental space where there is no “right” way to take part
Accessibility Note:
The workshop environment is intentionally created to be sensory sensitive, with attention to lighting, sound, and overall atmosphere. This ensures that you can focus on the creative experience without feeling overwhelmed or overstimulated. Please get in touch ahead of the session to discuss your individual preferences and aims.
