Guests arrive and are welcomed into the space. We begin with brief introductions and a gentle overview of the session.

A short guided breathing exercise helps everyone transition out of the busyness of the day and into a calm, creative mindset. You’ll be invited to set a simple intention for your piece.

I’ll introduce the clay and tools before demonstrating an accessible hand-building technique. You’ll learn how to shape, strengthen and refine your piece, with clear guidance to ensure you feel confident before beginning.

This is the heart of the workshop. You’ll begin creating your piece at a relaxed, mindful pace. I’ll offer gentle one-to-one support as needed, while maintaining a calm and unhurried atmosphere. The focus is on enjoying the process rather than striving for perfection.

As your piece takes shape, you’ll refine edges, smooth surfaces and add any textures or details. You may also choose to sign or mark your work.

We’ll gently bring the session to a close with a brief moment of reflection. I’ll explain the glazing and firing process and how collection will work. You’ll leave feeling grounded, creative and accomplished.
After the workshop, I will glaze and fire each piece. Your finished ceramic item will be ready to collect in approximately 3 - 4 weeks.

Not at all. This workshop is designed to be beginner-friendly and fully guided. I’ll demonstrate each step clearly and offer gentle one-to-one support throughout, so you can relax and enjoy the process.

Your £46 booking includes all materials, full guidance during the 2-hour session, professional glazing of your finished piece, and two kiln firings. Your ceramic piece will be ready to collect once completed.

Clothes you don’t mind getting a little messy are recommended. Clay washes out easily, but it’s best to avoid your most delicate fabrics. Aprons are usually provided, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer.

This session is primarily designed for adults seeking a calm, mindful experience. If you’re interested in bringing a younger participant, please get in touch before booking.

Due to limited spaces and preparation involved, bookings are non-refundable. However, if you provide reasonable notice, I will do my best to transfer your place to a future session where possible.
