Potter leading a mindful pottery workshop in Manchester, guiding participants through hand-building ceramic pots using slab building

What to Expect

During each session, I’ll guide you step by step through the process of hand building your very own piece of ceramics. You’ll learn age-old techniques such as slab rolling, pinching, and coiling.

Many participants enjoy making mugs, vases, or plant pots, but sessions can be tailored to suit your group’s interests or a specific theme.

Glazing & Finishing Touches

You’ll have the opportunity to decorate your piece using a variety of surface techniques before finishing it with a choice of beautiful ceramic glazes. Once complete, I’ll take your work away to be kiln-fired. Your finished piece will be professionally fired, food safe, and ready for collection within 4–6 weeks.

Mobile Workshops Available

Prefer to host the workshop in your own space? I can bring the full experience to you. Whether at your home, garden, workplace, or a special event, I’ll set everything up on-site, and I’m happy to help you source a suitable venue if needed.

Perfect for Special Occasions

Craft and Fire Workshops are ideal for:

  • Creative get-togethers

  • Team-building events

  • Wellness days

  • Or simply a mindful moment for yourself

No prior experience is needed; I’ll be there to guide and support you throughout.
